Suzuki GS1000S 1979

Rare Wes Cooley GS1000 S model.

Very rare and surprising Barn Find (shed actually!) current (last) owner for last 19 years - part of the family....

Very, very rare, unrestored and unmolested Wes Cooley Factory replica which was sold as the Suzuki GS1000 S. This is the PORN version of the fantabulous GS1000!

Almost totally original except exhaust system, mirrors and Lumenition ignition - but the replacement mirrors are the Suzuki stamped ones - originals were black and mounted on the fairing where the holes have been blanked.

Excellent Motad exhaust system.

Starts, runs and not too far from an MOT in our opinion - but would benefit from a complete service including change of fluids. The chain is "tight" from the bike being unused for a good number of years and the rear calipers a bit sticky, paint now suffering - all totally understandable and acceptable for a 31 year old bike. Mileage not verifed as apparantly the speedo's been changed at some point in the 1990's.

Needs a battery - will start off a jump.

This is sold as a Project but see no reason why it cannot be used (almost) as is - then restore it over the winter.

Obviously no Tax or Mot! and cannot be ridden home.....
